The three-story new Medical Office Building includes full shell and core, interiors, parking and landscaping. At the time of construction, the medical center was the largest structure built in the Porter Ranch community, and would include urgent care, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, physician suites, and pharmacy. PNG operated as the at-risk construction manager, overseeing complete core and shell construction. PNG was instrumental in educating the client, Shapell Industries, through their first significant ground-up office building project.
Project progress was impacted by severe winds and rain, requiring extensive moisture protection, temporary welding for structural members, and excess framing for our scaffold. Despite setbacks caused by the weather, construction completed on schedule and under budget. Our team of contractors, including Anderson Charnesky Structural Steel and Coan Construction were instrumental in the project’s success.
