Project Flashback | Spacecraft Assembly Facility High Bay

Did you know? Back in 2007, PNG Builders built the Spacecraft Assembly Facility High Bay – the very facility where the James Webb Telescope was assembled, built, and tested. Just last December, satellite and telescope equipment that was built within these very walls was launched into space – today giving us the most incredible photography of our solar system and beyond.

This ground-up facility, built in just thirteen months, was constructed specifically for the James Webb Space Telescope. Project phases included engineering, plan check, permitting, and construction. The work included a 90-foot-tall, 3,500 s.f. Satellite High-Bay ISO 4 Cleanroom addition and seismic rehabilitation.
