Pacific Luminaire 1959 Formed by a partnership between Rob Bolster and William “Bill” Spencer, the corporation Pacific Luminaire received its humble beginnings as an Electrical and Specialty Contractor in Atawater Village, CA, that provided maintenance, repair, and installation. 2024 1976 Pacific Buildings Interiors 1976 President Bill Spencer realized that Pacific Luminaire did not accurately describe the services the company had grown to provide as a general building contractor. As such, Pacific Building Interiors was formed. PBI grew as rapidly as the relationships with their clients grew, and the company upgraded to a larger building in Alhambra, CA. 1959 1977 Surpassing 1 Million 1977 PBI breaks a milestone for the company in performing $1.3 million dollars in contract revenue – the first time the company exceeded the $1m dollar mark. William “Bill” Spencer transitions to President and brings in Dick Giolando as Vice President. 1976 1979 Retirement and Promotions 1979 As the firm continues to grow, Spencer retires and Dick Giolando takes over as President, bringing in Art Boren and Lee Darling. 1977 1982 Summer Gatherings 1982 To accommodate a growing company and to reward hard work, the company initiates summer parties at the part. One of first company-wide Picnic Party at Knotts Berry Farm. Employees and their families gathered together for a softball game and afternoon at the theme park.

$25 Million & Counting 1987 PBI continues to thrive under the leadership of Dick, Art and Lee, and project revenue exceeds $25million for the first time in the companies short history. PBI gains momentum with finance and aerospace clientele. 1982 1995 Drywall Subcontractor 1995 Pacific Systems Interiors, led by Jon Miasnik, was formed as a subcontracting entity of carpentry and supervision trades, not just to serve PBI but to serve other select GCs and clients. Giolando retires leaving PBI to Art Boren and Lee Darling. 1987 1999 A change of names: Pacific National Group 1999 As the company continues to expand and take on more projects in the medical sector, it was decided that ”Interiors” in the PBI name was too limiting, subsequently leading to name Pacific National Group – PNG. 1995 2001 Breaking $100 Million in Revenue 2001 Combined company revenues exceed $100M for the first time, and a upon popular demand, a new logo rolls out for PNG. 1999 2002 Irwindale Headquarters 2002 With continued growth and a vision for the future, PNG establishes its new headquarters in Irwindale, marking an exciting new chapter for PNG. 2001 2005 New Leadership 2005 Following Lee Darling’s retirement, Art Boren leads as president with Steve Mathison and Ciaran Barry as Vice Presidents.

A Legacy of Ownership Takes Root 2009 PNG sold 100% of its ownership to American Business Group (ABG), becoming a fully employee-owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This milestone marked the beginning of a new era—one where every employee became an owner, and PNG’s future was built on shared success. 2005 2015 New President for PNG 2015 Founder Art Boren retires, passing the torch to a new generation of leadership with Steve Mathison stepping in as President and Ciaran Barry taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer. 2009 2018 Charitable Giving 2018 Driven by a spirit of generosity and a deep commitment to community, PNG gives back by donating over $225,000 to a variety of charitable organizations—supporting causes that align with the company’s values and making a meaningful difference beyond the jobsite. 2015 2019 60th Year Celebration 2019 PNG celebrated its 60th year—marking the company’s long history in the industry and solidifying its reputation as a steady and reliable firm. The ESOP trust exceeds $30 million dollars in value.

The modern, simplified design reflects PNG’s forward-thinking culture and commitment to delivering clear, straightforward service, bridging the company’s past, present, and future. 2019 2022 Powering Progress, One Award-Winning Project at a Time 2021 PNG was honored with the ENR Best Project Award in the Energy/Industrial category for our work on the Los Alamitos Battery Energy Storage Systems project in Long Beach. Our team proudly attended the celebration, representing the innovation, collaboration, and dedication that brought this project to life. 2020 2022 65 Years Strong—Built on People, Powered by Purpose 2024 In celebration of 65 incredible years, the PNG team came together for a fun-filled day at Knott’s Berry Farm.
