Warehouse Coordinator

Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services. Manage fleet of company vehicles. Manage intercompany tool rental program. Facilities manager for two main corporate offices. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Description:

  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
  • Setup layout in cooperation with corporate guidelines and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Manages stock control by conducting physical counts and reconcile with corporate tracking logs.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status reports, dead stock report, etc.).
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting premises and equipment; issuing work orders for repair and replacement as needed.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and/or monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Strictly adheres to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience as warehouse manager or inventory control experience in the construction industry, with responsibility for delivery function and purchasing materials.

  • Ability to effectively present information in oral, written, and graphic form.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, and outside entities.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to evaluate information to proactively find solutions.
