Contracts Administrator

Protect and Strengthen the Project

Strong contracts are the foundation of successful projects. Our Contracts Administrators play a critical role in developing and reviewing agreements that protect the project, manage risk, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

Working closely with executive leadership, project teams, finance, clients, subcontractors, and vendors, you’ll oversee contracts throughout their lifecycle—from initial review and negotiation through execution, compliance, amendments, and closeout. This role is ideal for an experienced construction contracts professional who combines technical knowledge with sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to build productive relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Review and negotiate owner, subcontractor, and vendor contracts to ensure alignment with company standards and project requirements
  • Identify contractual risks and develop exceptions, revisions, redlines, and recommendations to protect PNG Builders
  • Review and negotiate construction contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements
  • Prepare contract exception packages, comparison documents, and summaries for executive review
  • Maintain and audit master owner and subcontractor agreements
  • Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, insurance, bonding, and contractual requirements
  • Evaluate and recommend modifications related to liability, indemnity, consequential damages, insurance, bonding, and schedule provisions
  • Document negotiations, exceptions, amendments, and other contract activity for accurate records and audit readiness
  • Collaborate with project management, finance, and executive leadership throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as a liaison with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other external parties to resolve contractual and compliance matters
  • Track key contract milestones, renewals, expirations, amendments, and other deadlines
  • Support prevailing wage, certified payroll, union labor, bonding, and surety requirements when applicable
  • Maintain contractor licenses and coordinate timely renewals and required documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of licenses, bonds, insurance certificates, and other compliance documentation
  • Manage contract administration systems, including Autodesk Construction Cloud and other company platforms
  • Prepare contract summaries, reports, and risk assessments to support executive decision-making
  • Develop standardized templates, processes, and best practices for contract administration and negotiation
  • Coordinate AIA contract software licenses and access
  • Maintain organized contract records to support audits, compliance, and future reference

  • Contracts are thoroughly reviewed, accurately documented, and structured to support successful project delivery
  • Potential contractual risks are identified and addressed before they become project issues
